WELCOME
I am primarily a self-taught artist although I have taken courses at the Vancouver Island School of Art, University of Victoria and Camosun College. I also self-teach in the traditional way by copying paintings. See my "Gauguins".
As global urbanization grows, I am increasingly interested in humans' relationship to nature. This is a theme that I intend to continue exploring in my painting.
My other primary theme is water. It is the source of all life, it changes form daily and remains essentially the same. It has no color and all colors. Sometimes it moves and sometimes it only appears to move as energy moves through it.
